Recumbent rider "Ray"
Bear Creek(Ashland)
After a 7 hour drive we landed in Ashland and had a British Pub dinner (Bangers and mash -Joe) and( Chish and Fips -Mo) and 2 pints of good ol' Bitter!! Then we spent the night (12th)
with William -- an excellent production -- and then went to bed in our air-conditioned room.
Woke with the news that it would reach 100 degrees today, so I took off for a marvelous Ashland bike path ride along the Bear Creek
Bike path (25 miler). Rode part of the way with a recumbent cyclist(Ray) who pointed out some of the local sights of the area.
Next ,--on to Lincoln city.
Ciao.
Yum, what a perfect ENGLISH evening! Never quite understood the recumbent style, however, I mean you miss so much being so low down...

I'm in Los Angeles, J & M. A friend invited me to swim in his lap pool. Didn't take long for me to realize that I'm not in good shape. But instead of quickly quitting, I thought about you, and did a few more laps. Such is the way of the inspiring hero. Thank you, Joe.
